Hey guys, I have recently been really interested in changing my foundation as my Dior forever one is on its last few pumps :(. I have used much better, however it has a lovely smell which I know isnt the main factor for a foundation but I thought it helped. As I have been using MAC studio fix for about 3 years, which was quite pale on me- this foundation did seem a little orange. I'm not sure if this was because I was so used to being a tad pale from time to time or it is actually orange on my skin. I found it to be quite creamy and lightweight, with a medium coverage. I do love the feel of a glass bottle it felt very high end (although it is) sadly I dropped mine and the bottom cracked off. I was very lucky for it not to affect the product as it just missed where the product was held. I wasn't entirely impressed by this foundation, I was actually pretty disappointed. I think what also puts me off is the crazy price at £31 from Debenhams.
I am really wanting to buy Urban Decays naked skin weightless foundation. I went into Urban Decay the other week and had this tried out on me and I just fell in love!. It is so lightweight it really does feel like you have nothing on, but my skin looked flawless. I didn't buy it there and then because I had only just brought my Dior one. I am very tempted to buy it online as Debenhams have a sale on but I don't know what shade :(. I think I'm going to pop in tomorrow! wish me luck. I will post the results.

First post!

Hey guys, although realistically I'm not even talking to anyone yet :(. I have decided to make a blog just about my life in general and my passion which is make up and genuinely anything to do with beauty. I love reading other beauty blogs and I thought I could give it a go myself, so apologies if it is pretty poor to begin with- I'm new!. I will review thing which I have brought or something I want and my opinion on them and perhaps make the odd video or too. I am quite an open person so I will share my life experiences and how I am feeling and what I will be up to whilst doing this blog. I want to make clear I am in no way shape or form a professional make up artist, however I feel I have finally made up my mind in what I want to do with my life and to become a professional make up artist is my goal.

I am 17 years old soon to be 18!. I am at College studying English Literature, Film studies, Drama and theatre studies and General Studies. I do enjoy these subjects and I'd have to say drama has really helped me to develop as A person because I am actually quite shy. I feel people would describe me as weak but I do try and be as nice to people as I can and I absolutely hate confrontation. I really go by the saying "It's nice to be important, but more important to be nice". I strongly believe there is no advantage to being a nasty person, I find it very sad how people feel the need to impress the "meanies" in order to be popular. I am finding this a huge problem at college and cannot wait to escape it!. I like to help people in anyway I can weather that's giving them a plaster or some advice!. I truly appreciated my lovely friends and family, I am very lucky to have my wonderful group of girls whom I love dearly. I also include 2 people from nursery to still be my dearest friends and not forgetting my sister and my boyfriend. I would be lost without these treasured people and If any of them are reading this know that I love you. Also I can't forget my friends from secondary school who I really helped me through school like taya and asha!. Anyway enough of me blabing, I look forward to blogging and getting to know more make up enthusiasts!

Thanks for reading

Lots of love
